- From October 1, 2021 onwards: The Movie Creator app cannot be installed or updated via the Google Play™ store on devices where the app has never been installed since the date of purchase.
- From February 1, 2022 onwards: The Movie Creator app will no longer be available on Google Play™ store for all devices.

Q: Will the Movie Creator app be supported in the future?
A: If the app was pre-installed, it will be updated (by distribution of a modified version) along with Xperia™ device software updates. Please note that this update is different than the update via the Google Play™ store, and will be discontinued once software updates for the device are no longer provided.
Q: Will I be able to use the Movie Creator app after October 1, 2021, or February 1, 2022?
A: Yes, you can continue to use the app until you uninstall it.
Q: If I purchase a new device, will Highlight Movies created by Movie Creator be automatically transferred to it?
A: No, all Highlight Movies created by Movie Creator are saved in the Movie Creator app. To be able to use them on your new device, you need to export your Highlight Movies in MP4 file format to the SD card or a cloud service, and then import the files directly to your new device. Please note that if you uninstall the Movie Creator app before exporting Highlight Movies, they will be permanently lost.
Enjoy your latest shots in an auto-generated movie! Movie Creator automatically creates short movies using your photos and videos. You will be notified when a Highlight Movie is created. You can enjoy your story and simply export it as a video file to share it further.
Basic Features:
- Highlight Movie will be automatically created after taking photos and videos
- You will be notified when it is automatically created
- You can create Highlight Movies by selecting the contents manually
- You can edit videos in the story view
- You can export Highlight Movie as a video file (mp4) for sharing
Editing Features:
- Edit title
- Delete or change unwanted scenes, or add photos/videos

- Change movie view (landscape/square/portrait)
Notes:
- Movie Creator does not upload your contents anywhere to create auto Highlight Movie.
- Facebook integration has been discontinued as of Movie Creator 5.7. Thank you for using the service.
