Smart Control allows anyone to have an advanced on-board computer for their car (even for older cars) through compatible ELM327, OBDLink LX, OBDLink MX or OBDLink MX +. It allows you to know all the movements of the car, consumption, errors generated by the control units (and to delete them in the Premium version). Smart Control can read DPF filter data for new generation Mazda diesel engines (does not support 1500 diesel). This is a unique Smart Control feature that can be enabled with the 'Mazda Parameters' option in the car profile.

Smart Control allows you to connect your Android phone to your car's engine management system via OBD. Smart Control is an OBD II engine ECU diagnostic tool that uses an ELM / OBD Bluetooth adapter to connect to your car's OBD engine management system.

Step 1:
Locate the 16-pin diagnostic connector (OBD port)

Smart Control requires an ELM327 Bluetooth or WIFI (infrastructure mode) (NO USB) device, to be connected to the car through the OBDII diagnostic port.

If the app is enabled to access the location, it records the path of each movement with the ability to view the data recorded at each point of the path.

In addition, the app generates many messages relating to the movement in progress and the operation of the car. Each message can be flexibly configured for reading and / or viewing according to your needs.

The app has, in the Lite version (free), the following limitations:
- Does not delete stored and pending error codes;
- Keeps only the last 5 trips and related data;
- The average consumption value and the relative classifications are based on the last three trips available, thus limiting the accuracy;
- View only the last 3 refuellings;
- Does not display the arrival position of the trips;
- Does not allow navigation to the last known position;
- It does not allow the insertion of more than one car profile;
- Of the expected performance, during the journey it only allows the display of acceleration 0 - 100 km / h
