To start using MB WAY, you just need to join us directly via app, or through MULTIBANCO. Just attach your card to your mobile phone number, and set your MB WAY PIN!
It’s done! Fast and easy.

Now your transfers and purchases are all at the same place: your phone.

How do I send money?
Just click the "Enviar e receber dinheiro" button and select the "Enviar dinheiro" option. Choose a contact, enter the amount you want to send and confirm the transaction with your MB WAY PIN. The money will be sent right away, being immediately available in your contact’s account.

How do I request money?
To request money, simply select the "Enviar e receber dinheiro" button in the app, and choose the "Pedir dinheiro" option.
Then, select the contact to whom you are requesting money, enter the amount, and send your request!
Your friend will receive a notification with your money request. Once the request is accepted, you will receive the money immediately in your account.

How to split a bill?
To split a bill, simply select the "Enviar e receber dinheiro" button in the app, and choose the "Dividir conta" option.
Then select the contacts you want to split the bill with, enter the bill amount, and confirm the bill split! We will do the math for you, and distribute the bill with your contacts!
The contacts you selected will receive a notification on the MB WAY app regarding your split bill. As each one accepts to pay their part, you will receive the money immediately in your account.

How to buy with MB WAY?
MB WAY offers you the ideal solution to pay for your purchases online and in the stores. When you pay for your purchases online, choose to pay with MB WAY and enter your mobile number. You will receive a notification via MB WAY app so that you can confirm payment with your MB WAY PIN… and it’s done!
To pay in the stores, you can read the QR Code at the payment terminals, or if your phone has NFC technology, after the merchant makes the terminal available with the amount to pay, just pay with your phone in the merchant terminal, put your MB WAY PIN and it’s done!

How to buy with MB NET?
After doing your online shopping, go to your MB WAY app and generate an MB NET Card. After doing that, go to the merchant website and select the pay with credit card option. Insert you MB NET data details (card number, expiry date and 3 security digits). You are actually buying with your real card but without inserting the real card data in the merchant website.

How to withdraw Money at MULTIBANCO?
Select the “levantar dinheiro” button at the MB WAY app, select or insert the amount that you want to withdraw and insert your MB WAY PIN. With the generated code, go to the MULTIBANCO ATM, push the green button, insert the code and collect the Money.

How to use the ATM?
To access the ATM with MB WAY app, you should:
1st press the ATM green button
2nd open the MB WAY app, choose which card you want to use and select the “Utilizar MULTIBANCO” option
3rd use the MB WAY app to read de QR CODE that is presented in the ATM screen and confirm the operation with your MB WAY app PIN
4th the ATM operations are available for you to use

For your convenience, if you wish, you can receive a proof of all the operations you perform on MB WAY.
