Key OnStar® safety services — Crash detection, Roadside Assistance, Emergency Services, Location Status including family locator and more — are right on your smartphone. Family safety made simple.

OnStar Safety & Security Members receive the OnStar Guardian™ app as part of their plan. If you don’t own a GM vehicle, you can try it for up to 3 months on us, and after that, it is only $15 a month.

Plus, you can share these benefits with up to 7 family members at no additional cost.

Mobile Crash Response
- Crash detection that can send for help — even if you or your family can’t ask for it.
- Smartphone sensors can detect a crash and alert an OnStar Advisor.

Roadside Assistance
- Less worry they’ll be stranded. Your family can get help on the road, a battery charge, help with a flat tire — even get fuel if they run out of gas.

Emergency Services
- Help when they need it. The red Emergency button provides access to an OnStar Emergency-Certified Advisor 24/7.
- With Google Assistant™ enabled, get help with simple voice commands such as “Hey Google, call help using OnStar Guardian.”

Location Status
- Togetherness, even apart. The family locator that gives you departure and arrival notifications, a live map, and more.

At the end of your trial and the first 2 months of your plan, OnStar will automatically bill the payment method on file monthly at then-current standard monthly rates. Customers with a preexisting OnStar or connected services plan are excluded from this offer. Plans may be canceled at any time by pushing the blue OnStar button or calling 1.888.466.7827.
