Guide to unlock bootloader

Step 1: Make sure you have unlocked your SIM card.

Step 2: Enable "OEM Unlocking" from Settings.

Go to [Settings] > [System] > [Developer Options] > [OEM Unlocking].

Step 3: Connect to the Internet.

You can connect to the Internet using the Wi-Fi or mobile data of your phone.

Step 4: Download and install Deep-testing apk.

Download the Deep-testing app using this link. Deep-testing APK download link.

Step 5: Apply Unlock permission

5.1: Start Deep-testing app.

• Open the Deep-testing app, then tap [Agree and continue]. Then, tap [Apply now]. Wait for a while, then a link named "Query Approval Status" will appear.

5.2: Tap [Apply Now] again.

• The cautions page will be displayed. Please make sure the SIM lock of your phone has been unlocked by T-Mobile.

5.3: Tap [Continue Application].

• The disclaimer page will be displayed. Please read carefully and confirm that you accept these terms.

  

• Check the [Agree] box and tap [Submit application], then the Status Query page will appear. Wait for a while, and then tap [Back].

5.4: Back to the main page.

• On the main page, tap [Query Approval Status].

5.5: Display application result.

• After you tap the approval status, it will display the application result and tap [Start deep testing].

5.6: Enter the bootlader.

There are 2 bootloader device types as below.

• Device Type 1

  

• Device Type 2

  

Step 6: Unlock your device

6.1: For Device Type 1

Command: fastboot flashing unlock

Expected result:

• Use the Volume keys to select "UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER." Then press the Power button to continue.

  

6.2: For Device Type 2

Command: fastboot flashing unlock

Expected result:

It will stop here on cmd and wait for the next operation. At this time, the mobile phone displays the following information. Then press Volume Up to confirm.

Run this command to restart the device:

Command: fastboot reboot

• The device must stay connected to the PC by USB throughout the entire process.
